Director-General designer of KBME LLC "Vector" A. N. Dolgov remotely participated in the Second Chinese-Russian Symposium of scientists, engineers and companies dedicated to the use of hydroacoustic and information technologies. The Symposium was organized by Harbin engineering University, far Eastern Federal University and MARINET Industry center with the organizational support of the computer science Department of the Committee Of the state natural Sciences Foundation of China.
A. N. Debt, made a report "Scientific echo-sounders to study the stocks of aquatic bioresources". He told about the latest developments of KBME LLC "Vector", and also made a proposal to organize a joint project with interested Chinese enterprises to study fish stocks in Antarctica.
In 2019-2020 Design Bureau of marine electronics "Vector "in the framework of the contract with JSC NPP AME for the implementation of the R & d project" Creation of two types of split-beam echo sounders", cipher" Processor-search-ERL " developed prototypes of scientific split-beam echo sounders of two types (ERL 1 and ERL 2). link >>
In 2018, the LCC Vector Marine Electronics Design Bureau developed a portable multipurpose research split beam echo sounder (MIEL), designed to study aquatic biological resources. In the same year, MIEL was tested in natural conditions together with VNIRO specialists in the water area of the test site with a known ichthyocenosis [1].
To the section Intellectual property has been added information on three know-how registered and protected at Marine Electronics Design Bureau "VECTOR":
- Calibration Procedure for a Split-beam Portable Multipurpose Research Single-beam Sounder;
- Method and device for estimating fish sizes in a wide field of view;
- Post-processing systems for sonar recordings with the aim of assessing stocks of fish bioresources.
In the collection of scientific works of VNIRO, an article was published by KBRME "Vector" developers and VNIRO scientists on testing a multipurpose research sounder with a split beam (MIEL) for the study of aquatic biological resources in shallow water and in inland waters.
