In November 2023, the Design Bureau of Marine Electronics "Vector" delivered a multi-purpose research single-beam echo sounder with a split beam to the MIEL Institute of Ecology and Evolution named after A.N. Severtsov of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Before sending the echo sounder to the Customer, a specialist of the IPEE RAS was trained to install and work with the echo sounder.

In March 2023, LLC Design Bureau of Marine Electronics "Vector" entered into an agreement with JSC "Acoustic Institute named after Academician N.N. Andreev” contract for the performance of work “Development of an analytical report, a report on patent research and a feasibility study for creating the appearance of fish-searching sonar”, code “Bioscan-RPGL”.
The work was successfully completed and three reports were submitted to the Customer:
- analytical report on the implementation of the R & D "Bioscan-2022" in terms of all-round fish-searching sonar, DLKM.416434.020 D6, page 504,
- a report on patent research on the implementation of the research and development work "Bioscan-2022" in terms of fish-searching sonars of a circular view, DLKM.416434.017 D1, on 283 pages,
- feasibility study for the implementation of the R&D "Bioscan-2022" in terms of the creation of all-round fish-searching sonars, DLKM.416434.020 D7, on 89 pages.

November 22, 2021 KBME Vector LLC and the Astrakhan State Technical University of Rosrybolovstvo signed an agreement for the supply of a hydroacoustic fish-finding equipment simulator (RPT-4000 fishing simulator) to AGTU in 2022.

Director-General designer of KBME LLC "Vector" A. N. Dolgov remotely participated in the Second Chinese-Russian Symposium of scientists, engineers and companies dedicated to the use of hydroacoustic and information technologies. The Symposium was organized by Harbin engineering University, far Eastern Federal University and MARINET Industry center with the organizational support of the computer science Department of the Committee Of the state natural Sciences Foundation of China.
A. N. Debt, made a report "Scientific echo-sounders to study the stocks of aquatic bioresources". He told about the latest developments of KBME LLC "Vector", and also made a proposal to organize a joint project with interested Chinese enterprises to study fish stocks in Antarctica.

NEW SOFTWARE FUNCTIONS OF MULTI-PURPOSE SPLIT BEAM ECHOSOUNDER FOR STOCK ASSESSMENT

In 2018, the LCC Vector Marine Electronics Design Bureau developed a portable multipurpose research split beam echo sounder (MIEL), designed to study aquatic biological resources. In the same year, MIEL was tested in natural conditions together with VNIRO specialists in the water area of the test site with a known ichthyocenosis [1].
