New training navigation areas were added in NS-3000 Navigation Simulation class including "The Island of Gotland" (Map 22112), "Port of Novorossiysk" (Map 35157), "Peter the Great Bay" (Map 62071).

 The NS-3000 includes new navigation areas for simulator training:

• Map 22112 "Gotland Island" (1:200000); Gotland Island
• Map 35157 "Port Of Novorossiysk" (1:25000); Peter The Great Bay
• Map 62071 "Peter The Great Bay" (1:250,000).The Port Of Novorossiysk

These areas include visual and radar scenes, all navigational landmarks in accordance with the sailing. In these areas can be worked out the whole complex of implemented exercises except for:

• Determination of the speed and lag correction (which is performed when moving on the measuring line of the map 32103);
• The definition of the amendment of the gyrocompass (which is performed by visual observation of the Yalta lighthouse card 32104).

For the class of navigation pad developed methodological support, which allows you to perform a set of laboratory work on the following topics:

• Graphic strip without taking into account the wind and current;
• Graphic strip with the wind;
• Graphic strip given the current;
• Graphic laying taking into account wind and current;
• The execution of the observation;
• Pilotage on the route;
• Radar surveillance and laying;
• Determination of vessel speed and lag correction;
• Definition amendment of heading;
• Selection of maps for the transition route.

To date, the class of the navigation pad is installed in the following training organizations:

• Volga Academy of water transport;
• Kaliningrad College;
• Moscow state Academy of water transport;
• The Omsk command river College;
• Rostov river school;
• Far Eastern nautical school;
• Cherepovets branch of MGAVT;
• Rostov Lyceum of water transport.
