In the framework of R&D with the Federal Agency for fisheries in 2009 Vector Marine Electronics, Ltd. is made “Development of software for training in pelagic fishing tier and its implementation in the fishing simulator.” The results of this R&D are implemented in the software of the navigation and fishing simulator NFS-3000, including:
- the software simulating the movement of the pelagic horizontal layer and the behavior of large single fish caught in the layer is developed;
- the software of the instructor's workplace has been modified;
- improved software for underwater visualization system;
- modified software remote control of trailmaster;
- modified software simulators sonar fishfinding equipment.
In December 2008, Vector Marine Electronics, Ltd. was upgraded software navigation and fishing simulator NFS-3000 in three educational institutions:
- Kaliningrad state technical University;
- Saint-Petersburg sea fishing College;
- Yeisk sea fishing College.
The new version of the software will allow to train students and cadets of educational institutions of the fishing industry technology and tactics of longline fishing, which is provided by the educational standard. Modernization within the framework of R&D was carried out free of charge.
