On December 22, 2016, the Federal State Institution "The Foundation for Assistance to the Development of Small Forms of Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Sphere" (Innovation Assistance Fund) and the Vector Marine Electronics, Ltd signed an agreement to fulfill research and development work on the topic: “Development of a technology for monitoring stocks of aquatic biological resources in inland waters and coastal waters of industrial fisheries” for a period of one year calendar year.

It is planned to involve the Federal State Budgetary Institution "All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography" (FSBI "VNIRO") and the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Caspian Research Institute of Fisheries" (FSNI "CaspNIRH") as co-contractors. The developed methodology will be tested together with the staff of FSBI “VNIRO” in the water area of ​​the Vazuzsky reservoir (Zubtsovsky district, Tver region, 56.076 N, 34.461 E) and together with the staff of the CaspNIRH FSBI in the waters of the North Caspian.
