From 25 to 27 October 2017, two professors from the Institute of Science and Technology (Gwangju, Korea) visited Vector Marine Electronics, Ltd to establish scientific and technical cooperation in the field of aquatic biological technologies and create scientific sonar equipment for use in industrial aquaculture. During the negotiations, a non-disclosure agreement and a letter of intent were signed.

Specialists of the Vector Marine Electronics, Ltd acquainted the Korean scientists with the hydroacoustic equipment and training equipment created in the Vector Marine Electronics, Ltd, discussed world achievements and the current state in the field of scientific hydroacoustic equipment for studying aquatic biological resources and using it in industrial aquaculture, outlined the main provisions of the roadmap to be built further relations and organization of work to solve the problem posed by Korean scientists.

Within the framework of the cultural program, Korean scientists visited the Taganrog Interdistrict Chamber of Commerce and got acquainted with its activities to promote the development of small and medium-sized businesses in Taganrog.
